Application for May Boulder Program

APPLICATIONS TO THE MAY 2024 PROGRAM

The national program held in Boulder, Colorado, each year is over-subscribed. The National College of Capital Voir Dire gives priority to attorneys with upcoming trial dates and capital defenders from jurisdictions traditionally underserved by national training opportunities. The cost of the program is $600.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please indicate this on the application form below and also separately email a short (150 words or less) request to Ann England (email ann.england@colorado.edu) stating:
(1) Your need for training
(2) Your financial need
(3) The likelihood/possibility of obtaining state, system, or court funding to cover this program.
If you are requesting a scholarship, please complete the Application Form below but do not complete the registration process (payment of fees and confirmation of registration) until we have contacted you regarding the scholarship decision. Thank you.

Attorneys interested in participating in the national program should fill out this application form below (and click "Submit Application"). The application review process generally begins in September. You will receive a confirmation of the receipt of your application at that time. If you are accepted into the program you will receive an email with instructions about where to send payment and information about local hotels. Payment from applicants must be received within ten days of acceptance into the program to complete the registration process and ensure your spot is reserved. After you are registered you will receive another email with information about how to access the program materials and the articles you are asked to read prior to the start of the program.
